Welcome to EuroAfrica Birding!

EuroAfrica Birding organises fun and affordable small group birding and wildlife watching trips to East Africa and Europe.

We specialise in leading trips to see the avian fauna (over 1300 bird species) of East Africa and in particular the birding hotspots of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

Our group sizes are normally between 6-12 people, with an experienced tour leader and expert local bird guide with a good sense of humour to boot. We pride ourselves on using local english speaking bird guides with a talent for natural history in general. We are also happy to tailor make birding and wildlifewatching trips to suit your needs! Our aim is for you to enjoy birds and share the excitement of seeing birds together within a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Although the emphasis of each trip is on birdwatching, we also feel it is important you have an all-round wildlife and cultural experience. Our local guides are always only too happy to share their knowledge about anything and everything not just birds as well as pointing out things of interest en-route.

Every trip starts with a meet and greet upon arrival at the airport to get acquainted with your fellow travellers, tour leader and local guide followed by a briefing. The trips are undertaken usually by minibus in Europe and comfortable 4x4 vehicles in East Africa with viewing hatch for convenience and give you maximum opportunity to get your ticks and take your snaps!

The accommodation used is either comfortable lodges, tented camps and hotels in East Africa or family pensions, guest houses or hotels in Europe. Our emphasis is on maximising your natural history enjoyment not the cost!

Whatever your level of expertise, whether you have been on many birding trips abroad or even if it is your first time, there will always be something new to see, learn or experience and you will receive a warm welcome from our team.

The EuroAfrica Birding philosophy is also about enjoying the natural world through the mediums of wildlife photography and art as well. So if you are interested in a wildlife art safari, then please let us know!

EuroAfrica Birding is aware of the importance of responsible and sustainable tourism and works closely with partners, local communities and charities on projects that border or are within wildlife areas around the world. We can also organise volunteering on community projects, please contact us for more information if you are interested.

We look forward to welcoming you on a birding trip soon!!!!!
